The Smurfs are 50!

 

The schtroumpf are 50!!! I remember watching the smurfs, but I had basically watched them in French, so when I caught an episode in English once, it just didn’t sound right. You can meet the smurfs here and les schtroumpfs here Can you believe that there was only one girl – Smurfette/Schtroumpfette – in the whole show! And many of my friends say that Vanity Smurf/Schtroumpf Coquet was gay – go figure… I think my favorite one is the baby! I love the way they are called “Puffi” in italian…Here is the intro in french:
