American Idol 7 – Top 8 Guys – Live Blogging

Ok, so here it goes…

 

Luke Menard was the first to sing…his song choice was “Wake me up before you GoGo”…his most embarassing moment in the clip before they sing was telling everyone how his sister dressed him up as a ballerina and took pictures…is it me or does this guy look a little bit like Orlando Bloom…the judges didn’t like him too much…I think he is going to be one of the guys leaving…

David Archuleta… YAY!!!…he is singing a Phil Collins song “Another Day in Paradise” and playing the piano WOW! he’s got talent! His embarrassing moment was singing at a concert and having his mother finish singing for him because his voice just died out on him…Randy liked it…Paula loved that some notes were of to show that he is not perfect but in his imperfection he is perfect…Simon didn’t think he should just sing sad songs…probably be in the top 2 great comment from Simon…even I think he will make it to the top 2

Danny Noriega… his embarrassing moment was falling in front of his crush and turning red like a tomato…he’s singing “Tainted Love”…Randy said there was good and bad – he can do this according to Randy…Paula said he has a sensitive and spicy side – she liked him and his hair…Simon hated everything…

David Hernandez – embarrassing moment a pea size booger in his nose while doing a photo shoot…sang “Its All Coming Back to me Now”…sounds pretty good…Randy said nice song choice…I think so far he is the only one they said it to…Paula loves his vocals…Simon didn’t find it as good as last week but believes he will advance to next weeks round

Michael Johns – embarrassing moment was while he was dressed as a kangaroo (mascot) and got beat up LOL…he is singing “Don’t You Forget About Me” and he sounds amazing…I just noticed he really likes to use his hands…Randy and Paula loved him and both think he picked the perfect song for him…Simon loved it too…he really likes him and thinks he will do well in this competition

David Cook...he had guitar problems…embarassing moment he forgot his lyrics…singing “Hello” and the crowd really likes it…Randy loved the arrangement…Paula loves him and loved the arrangement also…Simon thought it was a very brave thing to do and he loved it…so basically they all loved the arrangement and hopefully he will be there next week

Jason Castro….embarrasing moment he tied his hair up on a date and a dread stayed in his hand… he sounds amazing singing “Hallelujah” (love that song and one of my favorite’s, first heard it on the OC)…One of Randy’s favorite song…difficult song and he did a great job and came out without the guitar…Paula finds him unique and loved the song…One of Simon’s favorite songs and he really liked it also and finds him getting better and better…

Chikizie…his embarrassing moment was in high school going to the girl’s bathroom…wow he sounds good too!…he is singing “All the woman I need”…Randy found it an interesting song choice but he did a good job…Paula found his vocals sounding really good…Simon didn’t like it found it cabaret like and told the audience to boo all they want, he didn’t think it worked…Randy definitely thinks that Chikizie deserves a spot

Well that was the show… the guys are amazing it is going to be a tough call…the ones who will be fighting to stay will most probably be: Luke Menard, Danny Noriega and Chikizie but we never know it all depends on how people will vote!
