90210 and Priviledged
I loved last night’s 90210 a lot better than the season premiere… I don’t know about you, but it only hit me this episode, when there was a scene with Kelly and her mom, at who her little sister really is! Back on the original 90210 there was baby Erin, who Jackie (Kelly’s mom) won custody of from Mel Silver. Kelly’s sister goes by the name Silver (her last name)… Oh my God has she grown up!!!
In this episode we find out that Naomi’s dad is a cheater and gives his daughter expensive gifts when he breaks his promises… So far I don’t really like this Naomi character – she is so fake! Every time Naomi has a scene I just tune out, sorry can’t help it.
The Wilson family is so like the Walsh family… the friday family night that they had planned and how they knew that their kids had invited all their friends to it… opening their home to Silver and they already had adopted Dixon… they had moved back to be with the grandmother, but where was she in this episode?
The father of Kelly’s son is still not known but we find out it is someone she had some history with – so who will it be: Brandon, Dylan or someone we really won’t expect? Even Kelly’s mom doesn’t reveal who the dad is when they exchanged some pretty harsh words.
The new 90210 does seem to borrow a lot on the old themes and it seems to be working! Annie and Dixon are going to become the next Brenda and Brandon. Speaking of Brenda where was she?
Now onto Privileged – I can’t say enough about this show… I LOVED it! I’m going to watch it again, it had me laughing through the whole show and I just wanted more! The main character, Megan, gets a job as a tutor to two rich spoiled kids. Her first meeting with the girls involves her getting tazered as she walks into the bedroom to wake them up. The girls – Rose and Sage are a handful especially Sage, who I think will turn out to be a real bitch. We find out at the end of the episode that it was her who had invited Megan’s sister to the charity ball. The only burning question I have is – Megan seems to have some sort of past with Palm Beach, so why is she so awestruck by everything she sees? Here is a promo of the show:
